Welcome to Base Arena (“Service”), a player-vs-player game running on the Base blockchain. By using the website base-arena.online and connecting your wallet to interact with the game’s smart contracts, you agree to these Terms of Service.
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use this Service. You must not be prohibited by applicable law from using blockchain-based applications or transacting in cryptocurrency. You are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Base Arena is a web interface that interacts with smart contracts deployed on the Base network. Game logic, stakes, payouts, and character data are enforced by these contracts. We do not custody your funds; all ETH and tokens remain in your wallet or in the contracts until you or the contract logic moves them.
Using the game may require you to send ETH (e.g. for training, healing, league entry, opening chests) or to approve token spending (e.g. ARNA for chests). All such transactions are irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain. You are responsible for gas fees and any amounts you send. Refunds are only possible if the smart contract explicitly provides for them.
The Service and the smart contracts are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, absence of bugs, or that the contracts are free of vulnerabilities. Blockchain transactions can be delayed or fail. Use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of Base Arena and any related parties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of funds, data, or profits, arising from your use of the Service or the underlying smart contracts. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us directly (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You must not use the Service to violate any law, cheat, exploit bugs, or attempt to manipulate the contracts or other users. We may restrict or block access to the website for users who we reasonably believe are abusing the Service, but we have no control over the smart contracts once deployed.
The Service relies on third parties, including Base network, RPC providers, wallet extensions (e.g. MetaMask), and hosting (e.g. Vercel). Their terms and availability are outside our control. We are not responsible for their actions or failures.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we may post a notice on the website.
For questions about these Terms, you may contact us through the official Base Arena channels (e.g. Discord, Twitter/X) linked from the main website.
